Dr. Shannon La Cava is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY27456) who specializes in delivering supportive services to children, adolescents, adults, and families diagnosed with acute and chronic illness and neurodevelopmental disorders.  Trained in diagnostic evaluation, neuropsychological assessment, and evidence-based therapeutic intervention, Dr. La Cava believes in a family systems approach to quality care. 

With over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Dr. La Cava incorporates clinical experience with theoretical understanding to offer support, relief, and change to her clients.   Dr. La Cava was accepted into the Implementing Comprehensive Biopsychosocial Screening training project for health professionals funded by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) department of the National Institute of Health (NIH).  In 2014, she reported her research on Siblings of Pediatric Cancer Patients at the American Psychosocial Oncology Society's (APOS) convention in Tampa, Florida in a podium presentation.
